hp Pavilion laptop starts up with error message hard disk 1 failed with code 301

I have a HP Pavilion laptop dv6-6033cl running with Windows 7.  In the last few days, it starts up with the error message: "Test Drive : 1

                 SMART check failed

                 Failure ID:  RU3TRQ_5KK6PJ_MFH14J-60BE03

                 Product ID:  LH597UA#ABA

                 HARD DISK 1"

When the computer runs in normal mode, Windows keeps sending out messages saying that it detects Disk 1 failure and recommeds I perform the backup.

This computer is over 2 years old and is out of warranty.

Can someone help, please.
