Re: Computer thinks it is in a different city

Lomeister,

Welcome the the HP Forum.

My guess is that you might clear this "Welcome to Seattle" by clearing any sites that have used the Location Services in the past.

Internet Explorer> Tools (Right Click and switch on Menu bar to see "Tools") > Internet Options> Privacy>

Clear Sites> OK

If you do not have it enabled, then you can Switch ON the Pop-up Blocker and adjust the settings, tool

CHECK "Turn on Pop-up Blocker"

Reference:

Change Internet Explorer 9 privacy settings

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If the message starts to make you nuts, you can Export your Favorites and THEN Reset IE back to Defaults.  This is a bit exteme; it may clear out the saved setting.

Export your Favorites from Internet Explorer

Add to, view, organize, and Import/Export favorites – Internet Explorer 10

Reset Internet Explorer

This option will RESET your Internet Explorer back to Factory setup -  you will lose all your custom settings:

Open IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Reset Internet Explorer settings> OK

Good Luck!

Click the KudosStar!

It is a great “Thank You” for the Author's efforts.
