problems with xfinity video

I recently purchased an HP dv6 notebook - I've only had it a few days. 

I noticed that when I try to watch Tv on xfinity - I do not get the video menu bar that allows me to pause, stop, and most importantly Go Full Screen.  I tried in chrome and firefox.

I checked my other HP notebook - the bar is still there when I go to the xfinity site - so I think its my PC and not Xfinity.

Thoughts?

I can go full screen when I go to other sites, like ABC, NBC etc and watch shows there
