I have an Elitebook 8570w, and connected an external SATA drive (Startech SAT2510U2E).
The drive is recognized only after a reboot, and copying data is after a fast start dead-slow.
Operating systen is W7-64bits.
Does anyone have an idea how the speed can be increased, so the SATA is of any use?
Does anyone have experience using external SATA drives (brands, availability)?
