Hi,
I have the same problem. My Envy 6 10006SA has exact same issue.. Laptop about a year old.
The hinge has come off on the left side just next to the power button.
The hinge is dangling and my screen would not close.
HP can you please help me and sort it out. I am desparately looking for help.
