Re: Over Heating HP envy M6

I am livid with HP right now. Conveniently, my warranty expired on November 21, little less than 3 weeks ago. For a week now, my Envy M6 has been randomly giving me a "thermal temperature" error warning and shuts down. Today, I couldn't use it for more than 5 minutes and it kept on shutting down. I called HP tonight and the representative told me I could pay $99 for an extended warranty and I could send it in for repair. She said there was nothing she can do and could not help me troubleshoot what might be the issue because I haven't paid anything and expired 2 weeks ago. I am a student and live on my laptop. Last year, I had a different HP laptop and the same darn thing happened to it, but I had purchased a Best Buy plan and it was sent to HP to get fixed, came back damaged and Best Buy replaced it with this laptop. Unacceptable! What is HP willing to do to keep me as a customer?
