Problems with drivers in Windows 8.1

Hi,

I have a question about Windows 8.1 drivers on my laptop. The Beats Audio drivers are not working properly. The equalizer will not change after tweaking it until I restart it. Also, I do not know if this is hardware or software issue, but sometimes when I plug in my headphones, it tend to glitch out, meaning that it will have no sound until I restart my computer or go to sound settings and set headphones to default, which is a pain in the neck after I take out my headphones and starting to use the speakers again.

Also, I have an issue with the on screen display. When I increase and decrease the on-screen display, it tends to gets wonky and go all weird on me and get various screen level brightness.

The last problem I have is the touchpad drivers. At times, the finger gestures stop working, and it sometimes is annoying, because there are times when I am doing something that uses finger gestures and suddenly it stops working.

In Windows 7, the drivers are 80% fine (there are still at times, no sound after plugging in earbuds or headphones). But in Windows 8.1, it is a pain in the neck. Are there new drivers updates for 8.1? (The drivers for Windows 8 seems to be working fine for Windows 8 but not 8.1)

          Thanks in advance!
