Method depends on which password it is. If it is a BIOS password that is required before the laptop will boot to the Windows Welcome screen- you should geta halt code after trying wrong password 3 times.Post it here.
If it is the password to login to Windows at the Welcome screen-you should be able to tap F11 immediately after powering on the laptop to boot into Recovery Manager. There you choose System Recovery-NOT System Restore- and reset the laptop back to Factory settings.
