I like to think of my laptop as a mostly unempoyed welfare case that is overpaid and under worked. It was never put to the task that I bought it for after the stock market took a dive and never came back.
I'm glad to see that there is hope for it yet. I live in a small town northwest of Toronto so I don't have much contact with the type of repair shops that you mentioned. I really am at a loss as to where I could send my motherboard and expect it to be returned in working order after payment has been sent. If you know of any reputable shops, I would be grateful for their names.
