Put my laptop to sleep. In the morning, it wouldn't wake back up. Previously that week, I had an warning message saying that there was a problem with the battery indicating it wasn't charging even though it was plugged in. So, I figured that my battery may need to be replaced. But it wouldn't wake-up even when it was plugged in. Now, the caps lock and num lock led lights flash 3 times in a row and it does that 5 times, then shuts itself back off after a few minutes. HP site said flashing 3 times was a module error. But following their suggestions did nothing. Thinking the motherboard is gone. Any chance this is something more simple?
