My battery won't charge anymore and it gives me the '0% available - plugged in, not charging' message.
I have taken the battery out, I have down the 'hard shutdown' (or whatever it is called) where you press the start button for 10 sec's but so far nothing has made a difference.
Anyone able to give me (in laymans terms please... :-)...) a hint of how to re-set the memory of the battery or whatever it is that one needs to do ?
thx -
Take out the battery and put back in and see if the charges otherwise that message your getting means the battery is no longer working and also check with another working charger to see if the problem isn't a bad charger PS. But most time when I see that message in the taskbar it ends up being a bad battery or dying battery.
