i have recieved a laptop from one of my family members that they already used. when i recieved the laptop i decided to reboot (factorise) the system because it was quite slow. i was not sure on how to do this so i searched it up specificly based on HP laptops. i followed the instructions and went through the system recovery as it told me.
A page appeared which told me the system recovery was incomplete. i had the options of 'save log' , 'details' and 'retry'. i selected retry and it went through the same process. the page appeared again, same as the first time. i tried to select save log however did not let me. the only thing i could do was switch off the system and turn it back on. it has brought me to the Windows 7 home basic start screen. there is an Administrator account-which i can not access (been disabled)- and an other user account. i cant access either of these and im not sure how i will be able to use the system.
how do i get onto one of the accounts?
