I have also fallen victim to this design flaw and have received nothing but the "no longer under warranty" claim for a laptop that sits unused most of the time. It saddens me greatly that HP would kill off a product like the Touchpad but go to market with something held together by inferior glue. Does anyone have repair instructions? I cannot bring myself to pay $140 additional dollars for a product that cost nearly the same as my wife's macbook air (which coincidentally has been abused a hunred times more than this and still keeps going)
I am thinking that at the very worst I will risk disassembly and super glue rather than give more of my hard earned dollars to a company that doesn't consider customer service to be priority one!
