As your computer is not turning on, I have included a couple of documents to help troubleshoot the issue depending on the version of Windows that you are currently running. From the documents below, please open the one that does include your version of Windows.
Computer Does not Start (Windows 7, Vista, XP), please follow the basic troubleshooting step, and then select the option for Symptom: LED lights do not glow, display is black, computer does not start, and follow the steps.
Computer Does Not Start (Windows 8), please select the option for The computer does not receive power (no noise or lights), and follow through the steps.
Please let me know the outcome of the troubleshooting steps, and if their is any changes.
If the above steps fail to resolve the issue, please let me know the full model number of your notebook. I have included the document 'Guide to finding the product number'. Also the current version of Windows that you are running. If you need assistance in finding the version, please reference the following document 'Which Windows operating system am I running?'.
