Just got my envy leap motion 17 se a week ago and yesterday needed some help with the wifi which just wouldn't connect. There's an icon on my desktop saying HP Smart Friend, which I assumed would be the defacto port of call for any device support. I did go down that route, downloaded the agent remote software and was able to connect to a live HP agent - but before I even got to ask my question they cut me off with a message saying that I need to choose a subscription. So my question is are the HP Support options (especially the remote agent type) paid for subscriptions and not part of any new HP device purchase? I find that hard to believe, and if so what are a consumers available support options (free) for any new HP device pruchase?
I managed to solve the wifi issue myself, but this info will still be handy to know for the future.
