Hello everyone, hopefully you guys can help me.
As the title says, I have a HP 2000 laptop. It's not even a year old yet. I decided that, with everything I do, such as editing and GFX design, I would need more RAM. I bought 4 more GB of ram, totally 8, which is the max amount my laptop can use.
After I bought the RAM and put it in it's slot, I turned it on, everything fine, working like a charm. After a few hours of working with it, my screen started to flicker, kind of like parts of the screen were breaking, but it was at random spots, not just one constant spot. These flickers would last maybe half a second, and disappear. I noticed that if I didn't do anything, it wouldn't flicker.
I also noticed after shutting it down, seeing if it just didn't load properly, it took multiple attemps for the screen to not be black when I turned on the power. It took me 5 tries the first, and now it's 1-18 tries to make the screen turn on. I tried taking apart the computer seeing if the wires to the screen were loose, and they were not.
If anyone could help me with this, I would gladly appreciate it.
