Maybe it thinks there is an obstruction, causing it not to close properly. If clean boot doesnt resolve it (and i dont think it will, check to see if the plastic (chassis) is broken or weak at any point around the DVD drive. If not, then the DVD drive would need replacing. If there is, then I would suggest replacing the chassis on the bottom and the DVD drive.
