I have a probook 4740s. This only started today. My computer was left on overnight and went into sleep mode. When I pressed the start button to turn it on my keyboard would no work. I turned it off, waited, then turned it back on. Still did not work. I turned it off again and took the power cable out and it started to work. I put the power cable back in and it stopped.Took the power cable out and it started to work again, but some of the keys are not typing. Different keys all the time, not the same ones. I have to keep going back and fixing the typing. Why does the keyboard not work when the power cable is in?
