Hi, i recently wrote an artical that someone gave me the answer to for laptop keyboard and said that HP will not do it as it was at my own fault. However, on Friday 22nd November 2013 the HINGE part of the laptop gave away when i opened the actual laptop up to use it. The right hand side hinge is EXREMLY stiff, when i first had the laptop from PC World in Selly Oak, Birmingham I notcied that the hinge part kept popping out, i decided not to take it back as it could simply be placed back in (didnt have to this again because it was that once that it came out). But when I opened it on this day the actual clip broke off. I strongly believe that this is a manufacture problem and i know it isnt my fault. I understand that people might thing that i am trying to scam HP or some sort, but i know this isnt my fault and i believe it is a problem with the make of it. I am a honest person and would not make up stories to try and get something free out of any company unless i believe the actual compnay is at fault which i believe here.
I took it to the place where I purchased it and they said they are unable to do anything for me and said that they can take it away but it will cost £50 just to take it away. It will cost then even more for parts.
My warranty runs out on the 25th December 2013. I brought my product on about the 3rd Janurary 2013. I first noticed the fixing covering the hinge that had poped out on that day. I never had a problem with the hinge untill Friday 22nd November where the hinge has not came off from where the screen is, and it is impossible to even move the hinge back or forth as it is that stiff.
I would be very greatful if anyone could help me in what i should do and if HP could possibly fix this issue for me please.
Kind Regards
Andrew
