Many thanks for reply. I did plug it into laptop but couldnt find how to copy data from it to my laptop. I only wanted to copy as I wanted to retain the info on the stick. The reason being was a previous laptop I had purchased had gone kaput completely within 3 weeks and I had to pay £80 for the info from that one to be restored (if possible) to be able to copy onto my new replacement one. Hence, just in case my 'newest' one went kaput also.
