I have an HP-Pavilion DV6000, which comes with a built in mic, on top of the screen, on the sides of the built in webcam.
Now The microphone doesn't seem to be working.
the microphone is registered in Windows and is said to be working properly, but then again, it doesn't work at all. Doesn't catch any sound. The sound level/volume/bars that shows how much sound the mic is catching is constantly showing no green bar.
The sound card, and all of the drivers are fine & updated.
Plugging in an external mic is also not working.
speakers are working properly even pluging in a headfone is also working fine.
Any help
