After spending months looking at various model ultabooks I went with HP Spectre. I bought 2 and unfortunately regret the decision after both machines failed with the same problem. But the only thing worse than the quality of the machines is the after sales customer support of HP.
I have never had to deal with a more incompetent and unprofessional corporation in my life. Both machines failed at the hinges with the frame coming away from the screen. HP fixed one machine under warranty but refuse to pay for other under warranty claiming it was caused by the customer. I find their inconsistency quite ludicrous. Having contacted HP on at least 4 occasions to discuss the issue, I have been told they will contact me back to discuss the matter. They did contact once, but I am still waiting for them to get back to me on the other 3 occasions. I will wait and see if they get back to me other wise the issue will be settled in court. This issue has been going on for 5 weeks. About 4.5 weeks too long.
