HP Pavilion DV7 suddenly switches off when in use

I am posting here as the (001)800-4746836 number I was given by HP customer support in the UK (and all other numbers on the USA HP website for technical support after a product has been bought are) is not currently working, and e-mailing for support does not seem to be possible outside of warranty.

I very much hope that you can help me, or please point me in the direction of where I can get support for this problem.

I bought a HP Pavilion DV7-3180us Entertainment Notebook in the United States in 2010.  I now live in England.

My problem is that my laptop keeps switching off randomly without warning.

My product number is: WA718UA#ABA, my OS is Windows 7 64-bit.

I ran each of the component tests (HP System Diagnostics), all components passed with the exception of the Hard Drive.

My test log displays the following error codes:

PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-Q2BX03

PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-61BK03

PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-61TT03

PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-61TT03

PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-60TB03

My BIOS:

F.1D, 05/10/2010

I bought and tried a new battery, but this did not solve the issue.

I use (at all times) a Cooler Master NotePal U3 Laptop Cooler with fans positioned where my laptop becomes warmest (bottom of the laptop,  when the laptop is in its normal up right position, the hot area goes from the top upper left corner (around where the power button is), down to about the caps lock key; width wise from the left side to about the F3 key). (This too does not solve the issue.)

I am looking forward to your reply.
