I am so frustrated right now. After spending hours on the phone with tech support today... It is sinking in that the product I came to rely on and love is now garbage! I have purchased nothing but HP computers and notebooks for years. Today my computer said boot device not found. I checked the hard drive and it is saying not installed I tried to reset default settings... Nothing worked I even tried to resit the hard drive cord to assure it wasn't loose... HP wants to charge me $279.99 to fix a proble that I now see is happening to many other people!!! I have 6 HP laptops in my home.. One for each one of my children and myself/husband, in our family alone 3 are broken... My daughters just arrived back in the mail today. My son his is out of warranty too so he took it somewhere else to be fixed. I have never needed to purchase an extended warranty for our computers as we have cherished the HP products, until today! Tech support is sending me a new hard drive... While I am computer literate it is not my specialty! So now I going to be stuck trying to figure out how to replace it! Very very very unpleased with the tech support staff today, it wasn't until I was transferred to a case manager that he offered to even send the hard drive... I have spent tons of money on HP products to date... I can honestly say this has soured my taste for the name HP
