Can some enlightened persons inform me of the correct procedure for sorting out this extreamily annoying persistent laptop problem.
In Nov 12 purchased a new HP Envy 6-1006SA laptop, lovely sleek machine or so i thought. Within 4 months one of the higges cracked open and caused the screen to come away from the bezel. No problem down to PC world and begrudginly they sent it away for repair at no cost, still under warranty.
Now 8 months later (2 months out of 1yr warranty) it has happened again. I went back to PC world and they just wrung there hands of it, not our problem its out of warranty they said. They were aware of the issuse with this machine but said they could not do anything---i was bloody levid to be totally dimissed, not interested.
Before i start going down the UK sale of goods act, then small claims if nothing happens, does anyone knnow of a better route to go. Also is it PC world as the seller do i approad with the sale of goods act or HP?
