I was not looking for the ram part number, my question did not pertain to that.
Also, since the laptop came with 1GB + 2GB , I don't see why I can't replace the 1GB by by a 2GB or even a 4GB, that would give me a whopping 6GB! But would that help the performance of the laptop as detailed in my original post.
