Hi there, not sure if this is the right place to ask this, it probably isn't, so we will have to see.
I bought an HP Envy laptop in Australia November of 2013 from the Australian chain retailer called Officeworks.
This weekend the screen cracked, I do not know how as I was not there when it happened.
So I am trying to figure out how I can go about getting it fixed under warranty. It is only a few months old and plus I also bought an extra insurance when I got it.
I wrote to Officeworks to ask how I can get it fixed, but have not heard back from them. I rang up HP in New Zealand to ask how I can get my computer screen fixed, and they just gave me the run around, everytime sending me to India. My calls have gone to India about 5 times and everytime i get there, I just get bounced from one person to the next.
Nothing against the Indians, but it is very difficult to understand them sometimes, and all I really want is to speak to somebody in New Zealand that can answer my question: where and how do I get my computer fixed.
So then I have been trying to get registered on this forum and for whatever reason, this forum does not recognize my email address as being a 'valid email address' and so now I have had to loan somebody elses, just to ask this question:
If I bought my HP Laptop in Australia in November, how can I get it fixed under warrently in New Zealand now?
Am i just wasting my time here? Really, feels like I would be better of chucking the p o s in the garbage, and getting another laptop from another maker.
Why don't HP have people in NZ than can answer my question? This customer service is terrible.
