I have now retrieved the data files from my XP computer using a downloaded image of Knoppix_V7.2.0CD-2013-06-16-EN.iso. The screen displays appeared to be somewhat different to those in the article "How to recover data with Linux" however I did successfully recover all the data files from the computer.
I would like to get a copy of the "outlook express" databases of inbox and sent items plus the address book. I have at sometime in the past saved copies of these files but I cannot remember the folder structure in which they are held.
I have searched the folder structure presented by the Linux CD without success.
I would appreciate it if you could advise the folder where thes can be found so that I can recover them as well.
