Hi alistaroy,
I assume you are still using MS Windows 7, the following is based on that assumption, if not let me know.
Does the webcam appear under 'Imaging Devices' in Device Manager?
To get to Device Manager, click Start, right-click Computer and select Properties from the menu that appears, from there click on Device Manager in the upper left to open it.
If you don't see the webcam listed under Imaging Devices, follow the section "Webcam is not listed in Device Manager" in the linked document to try and resolve it.
If the webcam is listed just fine in Device Manager, then you might just need to uninstall the YouCam software, and reinstall it, you can use the section "Reinstalling the original webcam program that came with your computer" in the same document.
Post back if neither of those suggestions worked.
