I've been having this issue for a couple of weeks now. My laptop will only start randomly after nemours attempts to turn it on. When I am able to get it running, it works like a champ and there are no issues with it being plugged in or running off the battery.
When I am having these issues the battery charging indicator light stays solid white if it is either pluged in or the battery is in. It is only when that indicator light goes off that I am able to start the laptop. I have taken the laptop apart (being that it is out of warrenty) and all my connections seem to be good. I have tried all the advise on here (removing battery and cords and holding down buttons, etc) but none of it seems to help. I have also looked but I have not found anything that resembles my issue.
With school quickly approaching I need to get this up and running ASAP.
