I would need help to find a way to connect my EliteBook to TV.I have tried with Intel Widi though seems the feature has been discontinued Windows 7. The machine doesn't not have the port to connect the HDMI port to directly connect...Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!.

Machine has one of the following wifi adapters/cards
Wireless LAN (WLAN) Via M.2 Minicard
- Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2x2) WiFi and Bluetooth® 4.2 combo (vPro)
- Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2x2) WiFi and Bluetooth® 4.2 combo (non-vPro)
- Intel® Wireless-AC 3165 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (1x1) WiFi and Bluetooth® 4.0 combo (non-vPro)
None of them supports wifi. You have few options
(a) Using HDMI: Your machine has DP 1.2 on the right hand side
A direct DP to HDMI cable will do the job because both use digital signals.
(b) Wireless: The following adapter (or similar) will work

I have a similar issue but for the right hinge for the 15t model. I have previously had the same issue of a broken right hinge on my laptop and HP replaced the hinge as it was under warranty.
Now the same issue has come up again after 2 years. I am disappointed to see that this issue keeps on happening again and again and that HP would repair my laptop with a faulty part.
I need to get the laptop repaired urgently as I can't even move it without causing more damage and that is negatively impacting my studies.

I am here on the Philippines for a longer Project. I have here for my Work a Spectre X360 15-BL031ng. This Laptop has since a few Weeks
- Display Problems, Flicker after a Time, totaly switch off with vertical broken Lines (white Blue)
- Sound change Volume by themself and from left to right
- Accu was not loaded but Power connected
All come nearly same time.
I have found out, that this Problems are not only my Laptop, many others have the same problems.
I contact HP via Chat, get a Case No. The Support call me, he say, I get a Call back in 2h, no Call, next day I got the Call. We talk again about this problem, the Woman say, I call you back in 2h, no Call. I got a Mail next day.
They ask me it is possible for me to go to HP in Manila, sure, 1h10Minutes flight.... And this for 2 Ways, without the warranty, that the Laptop can be repaired.
Ok, next....
I found out by myself that here in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, a ASP exist. I go their, let the laptop there for Check. The Company sent the Pictures from Inside the Laptop to HP. The Answer from HP: we try to get the Mainboard here in the Philippines. No Answer since more as a Week.
The Mainboard Type: 911083-601 / SPS_MB DSC 940MX 2GB i7_7500U WIN
The ASP dont get any answer from HP until today, but 3 days ago, HP close my Case.
Close, without a initiated Order for the MB. So, what is this please?
I have a 2 year international Warranty, but it was not possible to help?
I open a new case, but dont get any feedback until today.. I got no answer until Today, casese open last week.
I cant say that I am satisfied.

I need this fixed asap. I am not a student at all. I'm usually working 10 to 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Of those 10 to 12 hours a day, I'm using this laptop. My job is my livelyhood. Please please have someone get back to me asap with a resolution.

Use the below steps to resolve the issue:
If the computer does not turn on (no lights or sounds) or the screen displays an error message, go to Computer Does Not Start (Windows 10) or Computer Does Not Start (Windows 8).
If after entering your password a blank screen displays with a blinking cursor, go to Black or Blank Screen with Blinking Cursor after Entering Windows Password
If the computer does not turn on and LED lights blink or you hear beeping sounds, go to Computer Does Not Start and Emits an LED or Beep Code
Step 1: Performing a hard reset
Resetting the computer can resolve many issues that cause a blank screen. Go to How to Power Reset Your Laptop for detailed steps to reset your notebook.
Continue to the next step if a hard reset did not resolve the issue.

BIOS settings grayed
Hi,
I've intended to change settings in BIOS (F.63) to activate BlueTooth device. Despite I am logged in as administrator most settings are shown grayed out.
With Windows 7 I've used security tool 'HP Protect Tools Security Manager' to change these settings. After uninstalling that tool and change to Windows 10 I've never changed anything. Is there a authorization problem, left from that security tool?

To enable Sure Run, you need to use HP CLient Security manager... HP CSM will configure Sure Run to activate at Windows start and monitor Windows Security services and applications. YOu can not run Sure Run by itself
