Hi, can anyone help? I have a HP Pavilion Notebook PC

Intel(R) Core(TM i5-4200u CPU @ 1.60GHz
mem 8gb.
I have just installed mcafee which was recommended by hp support and also downloaded updates for my hp with hp updates however my pc asked to restart and then I lost my internet and the screen went blue and now displays automatic repair! I have tried and failed to get it up and running.... Anyone else had this issue? I've only had the laptop for 2 months :(
